“The greatest danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high, but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark”
~ Michelangelo
I’ve been blessed to study and work directly with some of the most enlightened of mentors. As they allow me to follow in their footsteps and stand on their shoulders of wisdom and experience, I’m frequently put in the position to expand my thinking, my dreams and goals, far further than I would ever imagine on my own.
What I’ve discovered is left to my own devices, I had the tendency to “aim to low.” Dreams and goals are not for the faint hearted. They take commitment. They take us out of our comfort zone and beyond just wishing and hoping. They require taking steps of faith. And yes, there are times when “aiming high” will bring us face to face with fear and our limiting beliefs.
On the flip side, I’ve also felt the joy of achievement. Of stepping out of my comfort zone and actually feeling a great sense of peace and joy once outside that self imposed box. I’ve come to know and believe that all our dreams and goals are possible. That once a clear, defined and positive emotionally charged decision is made, synchronicity becomes a way of life. People and events show up to assist us in realizing our dreams.
It’s nice to know we never have to do it all on our own! Aim High!!!
